Guild Event: 2023 Civic Dinner at Vintners' Hall

Our Civic Dinner is the flagship event in the Guild’s calendar when we invite the Lord Mayor (or his representative) to attend and accept a donation from the Charitable Trust for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal. It is also the occasion to which we formally invite Masters of other Livery Companies, as well as the Sheriffs.

Our guest speaker is Sir Stephen O’Brien KBE, a British politician and diplomat who was the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator from 2015 to 2017. Further details on Sir Stephen can be found via the link here:

Vintners’ Hall, one of the most magnificent City Livery Halls, is the venue for our dinner. Further information on the Hall is available here: https://vintnershall.co.uk

Proceedings will commence at 6.30pm with a drinks reception, followed by dinner at 7.15pm. There will also be some musical entertainment.

The dress code is black tie and badges/decorations.

The price of the dinner is £130.00. Please book as soon as possible and by Monday 9th January 2023 at the latest, after which no refunds can be made. As ever, please feel free to invite guests and prospective members – all are very welcome.
